The field of ocular oncology is rapidly changing, according to a presentation at Hawaiian Eye 2022. It was a pleasure to speak with Dr Basil K Williams (University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, USA) on the topic of retinoblastoma and its challenges, and treatment options for uveal melanoma.

The abstract entitled What’s New in the World of Ocular Oncology? was presented at Hawaiian Eye 2022, 15–21 January 2022.
