We talked to Dr Miguel Gonzarlez Andrades (Ophthalmologist, San Cecilio Hospital, Granada, Spain), at WOC 2018, to learn more about the European Society of Ophthalmology’s (SOE) Young Ophthalmologist’s (YO) Committee. He explained the benefits of attending the SOE Congress for YOs, including finding grants, exploring different training platforms, finding clinical and research fellowships, and interaction with training centers. Dr González Andrades also highlights the main aim of the YO Committee and its fight against training disparities in Europe.
