Barrett Formulas on the Pentacam® AXLThe Barrett formulas are now integrated in the IOL Calculator of the Pentacam® AXL. The update incorporates the Barrett Universal II, Barrett Toric and Barrett True K. All three formulas have shown to result in superior outcomes in many recent studies. A free software update with the new Barrett formulas is available for all Pentacam® AXL users.

OCULUS BIOM® ready receives U.S. patentOCULUS Optikgeräte GmbH, Wetzlar, Germany, have announced the granting of a U.S. patent for the OCULUS BIOM® ready (no. 9,155,593 B2). The patent was issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on October 13, 2015. The BIOM® ready from OCULUS is the world’s first single-use wide angle viewing system.
