Jacob Pe'er

Jacob Pe’er is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center and the Jonas Friedenwald Professor of Ophthalmic Research. He is an ocular oncologist and ophthalmic pathologist, and was President of the International Society of Ophthalmic Pathology (2000–2004) and President of the International Society of Ocular Oncology (2007–2011). Professor Pe’er has published over 230 scientific papers, more than 40 book chapters, co-authored the book Clinical Ocular Oncology and has presented about 500 lectures in conferences and institutions around the world.
